SOS drone team NL search-and-rescue training

Today, in close cooperation with Team SOS Drone Team NL, we carried out an extensive search and rescue training. The focus was on mobile, off-grid and offline autonomous systems for locating missing persons using drone technology and AI detection systems.

I took the stage to shocase how Spectro-AI is helping transform public safety and security through practical, autonomous drone intelligence that works on-premises, offline, and even off-grid.

We showcased how our systems bring real operational impact:

Launching Mass Production

We’re pleased to share that Spectro-AI has started mass production of the DockWatchTrailer and Brain-Box, responding to growing market demand for secure, offline, off-grid, and mobile drone solutions. The DockWatchTrailer and Brain-Box are transforming how organizations perform autonomous inspections, mapping, and security operations — enabling reliable, mobile deployment anywhere, anytime.

Twente Safety campus

We showcased our systems at the Twente Safety Campus in collaboration with Brandweer Twente. During the event, we demonstrated how our technology can support first responders by enabling faster situational awareness, improving operational safety, and providing real-time data in critical scenarios. This collaboration highlights the practical applications of our solutions in emergency response and disaster management.

FoD detection

Together with SOS Drone Team NL and 3DE Systems, we collected valuable data to support the training of Foreign Object Debris (FoD) detection models. These models will be deployed to enhance the inspection of airport runways, helping to identify and address potential hazards before they can affect safety. By combining advanced AI with drone-based data collection, we are paving the way for faster, more reliable, and cost-effective runway monitoring that reduces risks for airlines, airports, and passengers alike.

Feuerwehr bocholt

On the 19th of September, we showcased our Dockwatch trailer solution together with the SAI-HUB DD and our robot hardware solution with the SAI-HUB ROB. A key highlight was our autonomous drone system, equipped with AI-powered detection of fire, smoke, and people. This technology enables faster situational awareness for fire departments, improves safety during emergency response, and provides critical real-time insights in high-risk environments.

Spectro AI x DroneStars

Spectro-AI and DroneStars B.V. present a scalable drone solution that can be deployed autonomously, even in areas without network coverage. Our mobile units, equipped with an integrated DJI Dock, operate fully **offline and off-grid**, powered by solar panels and batteries. They are locally controlled through an on-premises command bus, ensuring maximum availability, data security, and operational reliability, without reliance on external connections.

Offshore experience

On September 9th, we participated in the Offshore Experience, where we had the opportunity to showcase our innovative DockWatch trailer system. We demonstrated its capabilities by continuously displaying various missions and conducting aerial flights throughout the event area. The demonstration provided a comprehensive look at how our system can be used to monitor and secure offshore environments.

On 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of September, we participated in the SAUDI DRONE EXHIBITION event in Saudi Arabia. Together with our partners New Rise Technologies العلا الحديثة للتقنية and Ankaa Innovations LLC.

Today, the Spectro-AI team was proud to be part of SAR Katwijk – Katwijkse Reddingsbrigade. Together with the SOS Drone Team NL, we demonstrated to the public how we can collaborate to find missing persons faster, safer, and smarter. The SOS Drone Team NL is a non-governmental organization that runs entirely on passion, volunteers, and donations. Their dedicated team trains tirelessly to be ready whenever they’re needed, day or night, rain or shine.

Securing the Future – Den Haag

Our Brain‑Box system was featured at a dedicated booth during a premier innovation and defence event focused on dual‑use technologies. Visitors included representatives from startups, SMEs, corporates, defence agencies, and investors from across member states. The booth showcased live demonstrations of real‑world applications, particularly in AI, unmanned systems, and situational awareness. A focused presentation to investors highlighted the Brain‑Box’s mission, core technology, and long‑term vision. Networking and matchmaking sessions enabled strategic conversations and potential collaborations. Overall, participation reinforced the Brain‑Box’s relevance in the defence and security ecosystem and generated valuable feedback and interest for future development.

Career event - University Twente

At the Career Event at the University of Twente, our team presented innovative solutions to students exploring internship opportunities. The event provided a valuable platform to connect with aspiring professionals, share insights into our technology, and discuss potential roles for students eager to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and forward-thinking environment.

SAIHUB - Brandweer twente

Held at Brandweer Twente, we showcased our flight and detection platform for the DJI Dock system. The event gathered professionals from public safety and emergency services to explore real-world drone applications. Live demonstrations highlighted the platform’s capabilities in automated deployment, real-time awareness, and intelligent detection. Attendees provided valuable feedback on usability, performance, and potential enhancements.

Drone Summit 2026 - Latvia

May 27 – Pre-Summit Demos
Spectro-AI participated in a closed demonstration hosted by LIAA and the Latvian Ministry of Defence at the Ādaži training ground, ahead of the main event. This exclusive session brought together over 150 industry professionals, investors, and institutional stakeholders to showcase state-of-the-art drone solutions with a strong emphasis on defence technology. May 28 – Drone Summit 2025 at ATTA Centre, Riga
Spectro-AI featured its Brain‑Box edge-AI system during the international Drone Summit Expo at the ATTA Centre. The summit, organized by the Ministry of Defence in cooperation with Riga Technical University, welcomed around 300 invited industry, military, policy, and academic leaders from over 20 countries. Sessions and hands-on exhibits focused on the latest advancements in autonomous systems, AI-enabled detection, and drone applications in defence. The event provided strategic insights and opportunities for collaborative innovation across the Drone Coalition network.

Emergency Drone - Bocholt

A live EmergencyDrone project meeting was held at the Bocholt Fire and Rescue Academy, focusing on collaborative emergency response workflows using autonomous drones. The event brought together project partners and public safety professionals to explore the integration of drone technology into coordinated emergency operations. Discussions and demonstrations highlighted the potential of autonomous systems to support real-time decision-making, improve situational awareness, and enhance overall response efficiency. The meeting also provided a platform for feedback, ensuring that the technology continues to align with the operational needs of first responders.

Christmas Crowd Management with Zero Gravity

During a special holiday deployment, Spectro-AI partnered with Zero Gravity to support crowd management operations using advanced drone technology. The DJI M30 drone, equipped with the Brain-Box edge AI system, was flown over busy Christmas event areas to enhance situational awareness and assist in real-time monitoring. This collaboration demonstrated how intelligent drone systems can support public safety during large-scale events, providing authorities with valuable insights to manage crowds efficiently and respond proactively to emerging situations. The operation highlighted the practical value of AI-driven aerial surveillance in dynamic urban environments.

World Summit AI
